Part-time employment in retail sales of a nostalgic candy store in the Old Market area. Flexible hours to include work availability for weekends. Neat appearance, great smile, enthusiastic personality, responsible and customer service oriented person.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter store
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management
- Effectively operate a cash register
- Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the store.
- Stock merchandise
- Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays
KNOWELEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to interact with diverse personalities
- Proficiency in the operation of a cash register and cash handling
- High degree of interpersonal skills
