Featured PEZ: Nebraska Cornhusker PEZ

Description: A traditional red PEZ dispenser, topped off with a Nebraska Cornhusker logoed football.

History: PEZ have been around for a long time, but the production of collegiate-athletic-logoed PEZ is still relatively new. As of now, there are 17 teams represented by PEZ. Hollywood Candy owns the exclusive production rights to Nebraska Cornhusker PEZ dispensers.

Packaging: Cardboard back, clear plastic front, 1 PEZ dispenser, 3 assorted candy packet flavors

Interesting Fact: The production of the PEZ was significantly delayed by the 2008 olympics. The PEZ was scheduled to be released in early Spring of 2008, but was not delivered until the last days of October 2008.

Collectibility: High. There was a limited run of 25,000 in the first production run. Many of the PEZ sale sites do not yet offer this product. Those that do offer this PEZ dispenser typically have it priced 200-500% higher than most comparable PEZ dispensers.

Final Verdict: A must have for any PEZ collector or Nebraska football fan. Make sure to get the cherry or fruit punch pez candies - gotta have the red flavors.
